Colon Cleanse #2
This is a super-fiber formula which can have a laxative effect, however, if the intestines are not functioning well the fibers will create a very uncomfortable bloat. DOSAGE: One teaspoon of the powder five times a day or 5 capsules five times a day for the last week of a two week cleanse. Continue to take Colon Cleanse #1 to prevent bloating. Less can be taken on a regular basis.
Psyllium is a soothing, lubricating, mucilaginous herb with drawing and cleansing laxative properties. It is high in fiber, balancing and regulating for digestive and colon bacteria, and is used as a “colon broom” for chronic constipation. Psyllium is a hydrophilic bulking agent that swells as it absorbs water. The increased bulk creates a stretching action on the walls of the intestines that stimulates peristaltic activity in the bowl. Because of its ability to absorb liquids be sure to drink plenty of water.
Flax Seed has a mucilaginous property and is high in Omega oils, containing both of the essential fatty acids Omega-3 and Omega-6. It is highly effective as a laxative and stool softener.
Apple Pectin is cleansing to the system with mild laxative action. It stimulates the liver and the digestion, while supporting the system with vitamins and minerals.
Bentonite Clay absorb toxins, impurities, heavy metals and other internal contaminants.
Slippery Elm Bark is a strengthening, soothing demulcent, ideal for sore and inflamed mucous membranes. Used for its soothing action on the stomach, bowels, and colon, as well as for indigestion by neutralizing stomach acidity and absorbing gases. Slippery elm helps lubricate the bowels allowing for smoother and softer eliminations.
Fennel Seed is an aromatic anti-inflammatory herb with digestive and diuretic abilities. It helps to stabilize the nervous system and move waste out of the body. Fennel is an anti-convulsive, pain-relieving, and mucus-countering. By improving digestion it effectively eliminates intestinal gas and reduces the formation and build-up of uric acid tissue, promoting normal bowel function.
Activated Charcoal- It relieves gas and diarrhea, an antidote for almost all poisons.
